What a challenge to introduce into the world an intimate new image of womanhood that shines through the atavistic quality of clay. My work is to bring idea into visual, tactile, 3-dimensional form by activating clay as a way of contemplating the female quest. My latest exhibit is, “Searching for the Grail,” a series of chalices depicting woman aware of the breadth of her power and place.
